RICKY B, THE BLUES GUY

I started collecting music in 1962, at the age of 10.  In 1973 I went to work at Budget Tapes and Records in Burien , Wa. I started as a clerk, in 6 months I was promoted to Mgr. In 1975 I became a multiple location mgr. In 1977 I became the Western Region Operations Manager over seeing 100+ stores in 10 states for the corporate office. In 1978 I added Blues buyer to my duties.

In 1983 I left the Record business and began a 12 year run in the HiFi store management business. I again managed single store and multi store locations. In 1990 I became a new locations opening manager for 3 years.

My first radio  broadcast, a Blues Show, was on KBSU in Boise Id. In 1980.

In 1992 I had a second job as a corporate DJ while living in San Diego, Ca.  for 3 years.

I did my first radio broadcast on  KOSW 91.3fm shortly after retiring to Ocean Shores in 2015. I have done a Blues Show, a R&R show, the Morning Show and NBHS Football and Basketball games broadcast.
