Comprised of volunteers from the station and the community,
the KOSW Radio Board is vital in helping the station stay the course
of its mission by overseeing the management and operational procedures.
Open to the public, your attendance at regular Board meetings is a great way to help KOSW grow and be more YOUR community radio station.
Starting at 6:00 p.m. on the third Monday of every month, Radio Board meetings are held at the
Canterbury Inn - 643 Ocean Shores Boulevard - Ocean Shores, WA.
Guests and volunteers are always welcome and encouraged to attend.
Please contact one of the following officers if you have questions, or if you are interested in becoming associated with the radio station.
Patricia Wright - Chairperson
Patricia Wright, a resident and KOSW listener since 2008, has been a business owner in Ocean Shores and is a former executive director of the Ocean Shores/North Beach Chamber of Commerce, a past president of the Puget Sound Association of Mortgage Women and a member of various local committees aimed at increasing tourism to our city.
John Farra - Treasurer
'The Shark' seems to have a thing for green stuff... Seaweed, money, moss on the Shark-Mobile...
Sunday afternoons at 1 p.m. is the time you can hear the 'Shark of the Shores' as he reports on and gives commentary about political and legal issues affecting our local region.
James 'A.J.' Ward - Secretary
Having stepped down as the station's Operations Manager, A.J. continues to serve as Technical Advisor to the staff of volunteers. Now on the Radio Board, his commitment to seeing the station continue to grow in it's mission takes a different tack. Increasing and securing KOSW's value as an asset to the City, in addition to it's supporters, listeners and volunteers, are at the top of A.J.s 'to-do' list.
Dianne Hansen is the owner of The Dusty Trunk right here in Ocean Shores. She and her husband Bruce have lived here since 2003. Dianne has been very involved in our community, having sat on the Chamber of Commerce Executive Board, the Vision Committee, Marketing Coop Group and Tourism Action Group. Dianne has been a part of the planning committee for the Razor Clam & Seafood Festival since its inception and has been the chairperson for the last two years. You can hear Dianne as she joins the Cockle Doodle Crew show on Monday and Wednesday mornings.
Teresa Fajardo Lambert
Having previously served on the Radio Board, this busy gal is baaaaaaaaaack... If you don't find her doing her thing between North Beach Printing and the Blue Tail Gallery, you can catch her 'Salsa with Soul' show on Wednesdays from 4-6 pm.
